Mission

The mission of Camp Encourage is to provide youth with autism spectrum disorder meaningful experiences in which they build the knowledge, courage, and skills to be empowered participants in the community.

Information about our programs

Our camps take place at Tall Oaks Conference Center in Linwood, KS. Each camp session includes both traditional camp activities and activities tailored around the individual campers’ interests. Our Connections program offers day excursions in the Kansas City area that are well-designed and structured social opportunities tailored to support our campers with ASD.

S'mores & Tie Day

We are delighted to say our Free Family Events are growing! Join us on Sunday April 13th, 2025 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at the Heartland Center (16965 NW 45 Hwy, Parkville, MO) for our first Tie Dye & S’mores event! Feel free to bring your own picnic and a blanket or chairs, if you’d like. In addition to connecting on a lovely April day enjoying s’mores by the fire, there will be tie dye supplies set up under the covered pavilion. Please feel free to bring your own articles to tie dye (shirt, socks, headband, tote bag, etc.)! It is sure to be a good time for all!
