Bird Nests Revealed! - Mo Dept of Conservation

Leaves have fallen, revealing secretive nests once hidden among the branches. Join a naturalist on a hike to discover the amazing variety of bird nests. From cavities in trees to platforms of sticks and carefully woven cups, a bird's nest is designed to protect eggs and nestlings from danger. We'll investigate real bird nests and use our inspiration to create our own decorative nests from natural materials!
