11:30 am12:30 pm
Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center: 4750 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64110

Registration required (ages 12+)

Fall is almost here and our forests are full of wild fruits and nuts ready for foraging. You are invited to our annual harvest table of woodland bounty. We will crack hickory nuts, chestnuts and walnuts. Taste a wild pawpaw, grape or persimmon. We'll even split a persimmon seed in honor of the classic folklore practice for predicting the weather for the oncoming winter.

If accommodations are needed, please e-mail the instructor after registering and at least one week prior to the program.
