Flute Journey is a multimedia concert that combines solo flute music with stories and footage of Katie's outdoor adventures. Through each piece of music and personal narrative, the audience is invited to experience Katie's time in nature and draw inspiration for their own journey in the outdoors. Katie is an active performing flutist in solo, chamber and orchestral settings. She is classically trained and perpetually inspired by the natural beauty found in her outdoor adventures. Katie also enjoys teaching a small studio of students, writing about her adventures and laughing with her husband, daughter and rescue pit-bull puppy, Andy. Please plan to be seated for the performance at least 5-minutes prior to the performance starting.
